Dr. Torun’s Clinic

Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use a keyboard, a screen reader, magnification or reduced motion.

Our aim

We design and test this website against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

What we have done

  • Text and controls meet WCAG AA contrast, and colour is never the only way information is shown.
  • Every page works with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline and a “Skip to content” link.
  • Headings, landmarks, labels and image descriptions are provided for assistive technology.
  • Pages can be zoomed to 200% and read on small screens without scrolling sideways.
  • If your device is set to reduce motion, animations are switched off. Moving galleries can be paused, and every page has a “Reduce motion” button in the footer.
  • Buttons and links are large enough to tap comfortably.

Known limitations

  • The Google Map on our contact page is provided by Google and may not be fully accessible. Our address and directions are always given in text.
  • Online booking and payments take place on a separate booking system, which has its own accessibility.
  • Some older health guides may contain long sections of text; we are breaking these into shorter parts.
